What’s new in VIRTIGATION?

As part of our multi-actor approach, VIRTIGATION has released its first 10 EIP-AGRI Practice Abstracts, which provide useful guidance and information to the stakeholders of our multi-actor network. The Practice Abstracts include hands-on tools to fight ToBRFV and ToLCNDV. Read the first and second editions of our Practice Abstracts on our website.

From 15-17 May 2024, VIRTIGATION partners gathered in Catania, Italy, for the project’s third annual meeting. They analyzed progress made so far and planned research & innovation actions for the final year of the project. On the 22nd of February 2024, VIRTIGATION partners TECNOVA and AGAPA brought together key Andalusian horticultural stakeholders to present promising project results in integrated pest and vector management strategies for emerging plant viruses in greenhouse horticulture. New social media series put young project researchers in the spotlight, and explore key concepts in plant science: The VIRTIGATION “Researcher in the Spotlight series” portrayed promising young scientists from our project partners, while the “Plantastic series” illustrated relevant plant science topics through easily understandable Biorender infographics.
